A lejandro Castelló Pasquel

Mr. Castelló is counsel at Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez where he specializes in Environmental and Real Estate Law.

Mr. Castelló represents pension funds, private equity funds and other investors in their real estate investments, as well on environmental matters, including industrial investors setting-up their operations in Mexico for the construction, development and management of their real estate assets in our country. Most recently, Mr. Castelló advised RLH Properties in the acquisition of a hospitality portfolio Mayakoba in Quintana Roo, BK Partners in the acquisition of its interest in a multifamily portfolio of properties known as “Ciudad Mayakoba” in Quintana Roo, Constellation Brands in the construction and development of its new beer production facility in Mexico and Aurora Capital Partners Management LP on environmental and real estate matters of the acquisition of Pacific Treatment Environmental Services, S.A. de C.V., company dedicated to the management, storage and transportation of hazardous and special handling waste.

Mr. Castelló obtained his law degree (JD) from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City in 2008. Mr. Castelló studied a Post-Graduate Course on Environmental and Natural Resources Law, the same year, from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City.

Prior to joining Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C. Mr. Castelló worked for over 8 years specializing in environmental law and real estate transactions in renowned firms in Mexico City.

Mr. Castelló is member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and in 2022 he co-authored the article “Mexico Trends & Developments” published in the Chambers Global Practice Guide: Construction Law 2022.

Mr. Castelló’s native language is Spanish and he is fluent in English.
