A lejandro Castelló Pasquel

Mr. Castelló has worked in real estate transactions and actively represented pension funds, private equity funds and other shareholders in their real estate investments in different sectors, including industrial, tourism, commercial and housing. Also, in environmental matters, he has represented clients in various regulatory and transactional matters, including investors establishing their operations in Mexico for the construction, development, operation and management of their real estate assets in our country.

Alejandro advised RLH Properties in the acquisition of a Mayakoba hotel portfolio in Quintana Roo, BK Partners in the acquisition of its interest in a multi-property portfolio known as “Ciudad Mayakoba” in Quintana Roo, Constellation Brands in the construction and development of its new brewery in Mexico, Aurora Capital Partners Management LP in environmental and real estate matters related to the acquisition of Pacific Treatment Environmental Services, S.A. de C.V., a company dedicated to the handling, storage and transportation of hazardous and special waste, and Volkswagen ClimatePartner GmbH in the negotiation of a Verified Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement (VERPA).

In 2008, Mr. Castelló received his law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City. In the same year, Mr. Castelló studied a Diploma in Environmental Law and Natural Resources at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City. Prior to joining Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C., Mr. Castelló worked for more than 8 years specializing in environmental law and real estate transactions at prestigious law firms in Mexico City.

Mr. Castelló is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and in 2022 he co-authored the article “Mexico Trends & Developments” published in the Chambers Global Practice Guide: Construction Law 2022.

Mr. Castelló’s native language is Spanish and he is fluent in English.
