C hristian Dorantes Picazo

Christian Dorantes is Counsel at Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C., where he specializes in Financial Services. He has more than 15 years of experience in Financial, Capital Markets, Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice.

He has actively represented domestic and foreign clients in transactions in Mexico and abroad, such as banks, investment banks, public companies, financial entities and corporate clients in a wide range of financial transactions, equity and debt securities issuances, in and outside the stock exchange and more recently in the most complex and important restructurings and insolvency proceedings in Mexico, such as Cinépolis, Cinemex, Alphacredit, TVAzteca and Unifin, among others.

He obtained his law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2008. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) – Mexico Chapter.
