Mr. Valadez has recently advised Arlington Capital Partners in the acquisition of TEAM Technologies, Inc.; Celestica on the negotiation and execution of an agreement under which QLTL Mexico and Qualitel LLC acquired 100% of the shares of Celestica de Mexicali; Stori México in the negotiation and preparation of a Co-Branded Card Program Agreement with SHEIN; DKP in its joint venture with Greenfield Partners; Storicard in the merger of Mi Stori with Savvi Financieros; Cognizant Technology Solutions U.S. Corporation in the acquisition of Belcan; Behrman Capital in the sale of kSARIA Holding Corporation; Platinum Equity in the acquisition of Founder Sport Group and Augusta Sportswear Brands; and Walton Street Capital Mexico in the sale of its stake in a portfolio of nine shopping centers to Planigrupo Latam.
He worked as an International Associate in the M&A team at the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP & Affiliates.
Mr. Valadez has been recognized by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, and the Latin America Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA) in “Corporate and M&A”.
He obtained his law degree (JD equivalent) from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) in 2008, and an LL.M degree in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law in 2014.
His native language is Spanish, and he is fluent in English.
