V icente Cuairán Chavarría

Vicente Cuairán Chavarría is counsel to Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez. His practice focuses on dispute resolutions, particularly on bankruptcy, restructuring and commercial and civil litigation.

Vicente is a distinguished legal professional with extensive expertise in litigation (civil, commercial and amparo proceedings) and dispute resolution counseling focused on bankruptcy, restructuring and advisory in contentious contexts and risk management and prevention, mostly on banking, financing, corporate restructuring and workouts, security interest matters, as well as on local and cross-border insolvency and bankruptcy cases.

The clients Vicente has worked with includes a diverse range of domestic and international entities from a wide range of sectors such as aviation, banking and finance, consumer products, education, hospitality, private equity, publishing, retail, among others.

Vicente holds a Master of Laws (LL.M. in Corporate Law) degree from New York University School of Law (NYU Law), where he graduated in 2015. He earned his Licenciatura en Derecho (J.D. equivalent) from Universidad Anáhuac México Norte in 2012, holding an academic excellence scholarship and earning a Testimony of Outstanding Performance from the Centro Nacional de Evaluación para la Educación Superior (CENEVAL).

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Vicente is admitted to practice in Mexico and holds dual Mexican and Spanish nationalities, and has been a member of the Barra Mexicana, Colegio de Abogados.
