Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C., is pleased to announce that Guillermo Govela has joined the Firm as Counsel in our Intellectual Property and Life Sciences group.

With over 10 years of government experience in health regulation and administrative law at government agencies such as IMSS, ISSSTE, COFEPRIS and the Ministry of Health, as well as private practice experience working for one of Mexico’s largest pharmaceutical distribution companies, Guillermo will substantially strengthen our Intellectual Property and Life Sciences practice offering regulatory and transactional advise for the pharmaceutical, medical device, vaccine, cannabis, food and dietary supplement industries.

Guillermo obtained his Law degree from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in 1996, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Manchester in 2001, where he was a Chevening Scholar from the British Council, and a second Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2003. In 2006 he received his Specialization in Administrative Law from Universidad Panamericana.
